Overview

All items produced by 3DPrintMyFile are custom-made to order based on customer-supplied files. As such, they are exempt from standard return and refund rights under UK consumer law.

No Returns for Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect or unsuitable files submitted
  • Designs that do not meet your expectations

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all uploaded files are correct and suitable for 3D printing.

Faulty or Defective Items

If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, we will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

To be eligible:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • You must provide clear photos showing the issue

What counts as a defect

A defect is defined as:

  • Significant structural failure (e.g. broken or incomplete print not caused by shipping)
  • Major deviation from the submitted file geometry
  • Critical manufacturing errors that make the part unusable

The following are not considered defects:

  • Minor surface imperfections
  • Layer lines or visible print artefacts
  • Slight dimensional variation within standard tolerances

We reserve the right to determine whether an issue is due to manufacturing or the original file design.

Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 72 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the packaging and the item

We will arrange a replacement where appropriate.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before production begins. Once manufacturing has started, cancellations are not possible.
